Inspired by Henry Moore's sculpture recumbent figure, and followed by Julian Robert's "Zero Waste" concept of making garment, I started this project.

 

The most special part of this project is I explored another possibility of fabric. Abstracted by the  abstract and fluent shape, which made the figure's echo with the environment and nature, plus the rough texture of the figure's surface, I focused on experimenting to 

make the fabric more easy to be dimensionally shaped,  and create a similar rough texture on a smooth fabric through bleached, waxed, rubbed and  sanding.
