Disrupt(2019)

WIP 24 hours Collaboration Project by Sha Rong, Tita, Yan Wang, Qiangqiang Zheng,Yuqing Wang.

Disrupt could be understood as destroying the original form of things, or it could be understood as creating new things by disrupting the original disorder. Disrupt is breaking, also is creating. It is a start, also it is the end. This installation allowed audience to chose any two dots, which are sticked on the wall in the shape of "1" one and "0" zero (that expressed everything as the language of computer represents on/true, off/false), then connect them together with red or black yarn.

After the repeat actions by different audiences, with the shape of "1" and "0" comes up through the black tapes, a new disordered place is created, and it's a place that hard to be accessed anymore.

The numbers of yarn threads with the fluffy texture bring the man-made feeling, which also discussed the relationship between human and the environment.
